Maximus Fleximus Group training classes for those improving their flexibility and mobility.

Flexibility and mobility determine how one’s body moves and, most importantly, how well it moves; they are determined by how well one can move their joints and muscles in different directions. Optimal flexibility and mobility permit reaching, bending, stretching, and dynamic movements without tightness or discomfort in the joints or muscles. Rather than building muscle, flexibility and mobility stretch and strengthen them and provide improved range of motion and posture and the reduced risk of injuries in everyday life or when training.

Each class typically incorporates a combination of techniques that include:

  • general static stretching and holding;
  • focused dynamic movement;
  • certain positions derived from yoga; and,
  • some calisthenic manoeuvres.

The Maximus Fleximus classes are taught in a group format and are calibrated for fitness practitioners of all levels and disciplines.
