Flexibility and mobility determine how one’s body moves and, most importantly, how well it moves; they are determined by how well one can move their joints and muscles in different directions. Optimal flexibility and mobility permit reaching, bending, stretching, and dynamic movements without tightness or discomfort in the joints or muscles. Rather than building muscle, flexibility and mobility stretch and strengthen them and provide improved range of motion and posture and the reduced risk of injuries in everyday life or when training.
The immediate and long-term benefits of yoga and deep stretching are essential fitness disciplines that enrich traditional training programs while prolonging long-term movement throughout one’s life. They also present the disciplined practitioner with holistic and targeted exercises and movements that aid in rehabilitation and recovery.
GROUND AND GROW YOGA
Incorporating the yin, hatha, and vinyasa yoga disciplines, The Forge’s Ground & Grow Yoga classes are designed for practitioners of all levels who want to move with awareness, notice what is happening within their bodies, and meet themselves without any judgement.

DEEP STRETCH CLASS
Each session typically incorporates a combination of techniques that include general static stretching and holding, focused dynamic movement, certain positions derived from yoga, and some calisthenic manoeuvres.

Dates and time:
- Ground & Grow Yoga: every Wednesday from 18h00 to 19h00 and two scheduled Saturday mornings in each month from 10h00 to 11h00.
- Deep Stretch Classes: two scheduled Saturday mornings in each month from 10h00 to 11h00.
Cost: free for Forge members • NAD150.00 (cash only) per person for drop-in classes.
Please note: there is no strict dress code; however, it is recommended to dress comfortably and modestly.
